My Experiences

Through many years of my life, I have spent a lot of time hunting, fishing, and experiencing the great outdoors. I have been deer hunting, squirrel hunting, cooning, duck hunting, mushroom hunting, gone fishing in all the lakes and farm ponds in my area. though my favorite time to go hunting is when me and my father drive up to New York where we are members of a hunting club so far north that we are 10 miles from the Canadian border. I love this time because it's an all-boys club. It's a 3-room cabin heated by a wood stove. About 10 miles from a store in either direction and every morning and evening we go out into the Woods and go on watch. That is what the owner of the club calls hunting. Last year we went up and there were around 15 guys they're at the camp. it's always a lot of fun when there's more people there due to more stories and experiences to listen to. The owner of the camp owns a bakery and so every meal we eat about 4 loafs of bread, and di

Why hunting and fishing is necessary

One of the many reasons is that it puts food on the table. There is a growing number of people in the world that are having a hard time putting food on the table. Due to the growing number of unemployment and low wages. Yes, there are many different programs that can help with the difficulty, though there are no programs out there where the person can pay about 20 dollars for a hunting permit. With one deer harvested, that person can get about 80 pounds of meat and here in Ohio anyone with a permit can harvest 7 deer. If that person harvested 7, they could essentially have 540 pounds of meat for the low cost of 20 dollars. Though there are some more cost for the weapon that the hunter uses. If the hunter is using a bow n arrow a bow can usually cost 100 dollars plus 20 dollars for arrows. That is now 140 dollars for five hundred and forty pounds of meat for that person's hungry family. For other expenses we will just round 140 dollars to 200 dollars. If we do the math that

Why are license’s necessary and tagging?

Nearly 7% of the United States population either hunts or fish. All 7% of those people had to of had to buy a fishing or hunting license. In Ohio a hunting license cost around $19.00 and a fishing license cost around $15.00 that is around $34.00 a single person will have to pay if they are going to do both of those acts. Well there are other costs associated with hunting license. Like tags, when you kill a Turkey another game in Ohio you must tag it with a tag that you bought from the Ohio division of natural resources. That is a separate cost from the $19.00 you paid for the license. Also, when you go fishing the fishing license gets you anywhere on a pond, lake, or stream. There is other cost if you wanted to go fishing on Lake Erie. It's called a charter license so the license only last 3 days and it's around $50. if you're an avid Hunter or Fisher and you enjoy fishing end all the types of hunting. You will have to pay a pretty penny to be able to d
