Why are license’s necessary and tagging?

                    Nearly 7% of the United States population either hunts or fish. All 7% of those people had to of had to buy a fishing or hunting license. In Ohio a hunting license cost around $19.00 and a fishing license cost around $15.00 that is around $34.00 a single person will have to pay if they are going to do both of those acts. Well there are other costs associated with hunting license. Like tags, when you kill a Turkey another game in Ohio you must tag it with a tag that you bought from the Ohio division of natural resources. That is a separate cost from the $19.00 you paid for the license. Also, when you go fishing the fishing license gets you anywhere on a pond, lake, or stream. There is other cost if you wanted to go fishing on Lake Erie. It's called a charter license so the license only last 3 days and it's around $50. if you're an avid Hunter or Fisher and you enjoy fishing end all the types of hunting. You will have to pay a pretty penny to be able to do all of it. Though it is necessary for you to spend that money. When ODNR (Ohio Division of Natural Resources) Receives your payment for these licenses and tags the money is not just going into their pockets. 100% of the money they receive from these licenses and tags goes into conservation. As an example, ODNR owns fisheries throughout Ohio. These fisheries go out in collect eggs from major rivers and lakes and they take them back to their fishery and raise them up so that they can release the fish back into the lakes and rivers. they do this because eggs have a better chance of survival in a fishery then they do in the wild. they also do this so that they can keep the population growth healthy so that when fisherman go fishing there is a healthy stock of fish in that given water. They also use this money for habitat restoration this includes providing more Woodland for deer and other wildlife and for the fishing side of this they use it for pollution in the water and putting trees and shrubs along the shoreline for fish and other aquatic life for protection. Never believe that the money that you spent on these fishing licenses and hunting licenses goes into people’s pockets because the fact is that they spend all of it on conservation.

Why to Hunt

Some people hunt just to get competitive gain over other people, some people do it so that they can be proud of what they shot and get it mounted, though I do it for the meat. Though its hard to just go out and kill something if you don’t know what that particular species of animals like. For example, if you are hunting for deer, they like corn and nice green grass. They usually only come out in the early mornings and later in the evening. So it would not be a wise choice to go out at high noon because the only thing you are likely to see is squirrels and birds. Now if your hunting for squirrels don’t sit in a field because they don’t run through fields they are tree climbers. So the smart thing to do is To go out in the woods and find a nice stop to sit on and just wait for the squirrels to run around and chase each other. Where to Hunt

There are many places that you can hunt if you are unable too hot on your property, some reasons are that you live in the city and there is no possible way that you would be able to hunt on your land. Other times is that your land is a farm and some people don't like to hunt on their farm due to their livestock. Many states have areas of land scattered around their state that permit you to hunt on the property with a license and a permit. But as you might think these properties or sometimes overcrowded with hunters that the population can dwindle down quickly and the only thing, you'll be able to find are baby deer. And with most state regulated land they do not permit you to bait on the property and with that some do not permit you to put up a tree stand.
