Where to Hunt
There
are many places that you can hunt if you are unable too hot on your property,
some reasons are that you live in the city and there is no possible way that
you would be able to hunt on your land. Other times is that your land is a farm
and some people don't like to hunt on their farm due to their livestock. Many
states have areas of land scattered around their state that permit you to hunt
on the property with a license and a permit. But as you might think these
properties or sometimes overcrowded with hunters that the population can
dwindle down quickly and the only thing, you'll be able to find are baby deer.
And with most state regulated land they do not permit you to bait on the
property and with that some do not permit you to put up a tree stand. Like my
state they do not permit you to have a tree stand but every time you go out you
can put up your ground blind. I hunt on my farm because no one else is allowed
to hunt on it and so I don't have a problem with overcrowding of people and
another plus about hunting on my own property is that I know all my neighbors
and I know where their stands or at so that when I go to shoot an animal I know
that beyond that animal that their tree stand is not right behind it and run
the risk of shooting a person. There are many cases about when people go out on
public land that they get shot and mostly end up dying because people go out
with the mentality of shoot anything that moves which is not what anyone should
do. Though people do it all the time. Sometimes if you ask a farmer that you
know very well that they will grant you permission to hunt on their property.
This is a really nice thing that people can do though there is a process that
you must take to be able to hunt on it legally. The farmer must get a paper,
this is for Ohio, and fill it out and it's about letting someone else hurt your
property. There are even places where you can pay to go out and hunt. Sometimes
these places are nice if you and your buddies want to go out and have a fun weekend.
Most places will provide room and board for you while you're hunting their
property in other places will not. Some places will even guarantee that you
will get an animal and if you do not you get your money back.
